During 2020, the first year of pandemic, I learned that uncertainty wasn’t all that bad . There was a unexpected sense of relief in letting go of trying to control the future. I found comfort in developing my drawing skills.
“Trespatas y Olivia” is my first published picture book for children. It’s a beautiful collaboration with Conchita, who wrote 8 original songs for the book.
Published in 2024.

Drawing is teaching me about life. Not every line has to be perfect to create a beautiful illustration.
Perfection is the perfect combination of imperfections, and worrying too much about the outcome interrupts the flow.
In the face of danger… let’s make some s’mores.
I’m inspired by the authenticity of animals—their heightened perception and the deep bonds we share without the need of words.
